BS proof of God's existence
Argument From Quote Mining
1. Here is an irrelevant quote by Stephen Jay Gould that proves that evolution is wrong.
2. [Atheist: Uhhh, that quote is a bit out of context. Actually, if you read the whole page from which the quote is taken, you'll see that-]
3. Since evolution is wrong, creationism is true.
4. Therefore, God exists.
Consider this
Religion devalues critical thinking except when it comes to being creative about justifying belief in ridiculous fairy tales.

What Happened?
Why YouTube suspended my accounts
This page shows what the situation was before the deletion of my NickGisburne2000 account, ie the new one I created. This is the information everyone saw when the censorship / Qur'an argument began.
I have left it here so that you are able to see what the state of play was before YouTube 'changed their minds' and contacted me with further information.

Please Click Here to view the current situation.

My YouTube accounts have been deleted
Deleted accounts are not quite part of the plan! This is now a censorship issue.
My NickGisburne and Gisburne2000 accounts were deleted because of 'Inappropriate Content', basically a video of material (no added commentary from me) from the Qur'an. I added nothing to that video, I was merely using material from the Muslim Holy Book, and for that I was removed from YouTube, along with all my videos, and everyone's subscriptions to me (over 500).
I have opened a new YouTube account, NickGisburne2000. CLICK HERE to go to it.
If you wish to look at the video for which I was banned, here are several different copies of it:
AVI (with audio)
AVI (no audio)
FLV (with audio)
FLV (no audio)
Note that FLV files can be uploaded directly to YouTube. They are smaller, so the process will be quicker.
Thank you for your support. I say this on a personal level, because many, many people have made supportive comments to me. I also know that there is a wider picture, because censorship has been affecting a lot of atheist YouTubers recently.
They came for the gypsies, and I did not speak out, for I am not a gypsy. They came for the Communists, and I did not speak out, for I am not a Communist. They came for the insane, and I did not speak out, for I am not insane. They came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, for I am not a Jew. They came for me, and there was no-one left to speak out for me.
If we cannot speak without first making sure that what we say is acceptable and will have no consequences, we do not have free speech.
Nick Gisburne

Censored - AGAIN
After 2 days being posted to my new account, the 'banned' video was deleted AGAIN (11 February 2007).
My account also contained an almost identical video, this one containing BIBLE quotes, rather than QUR'AN. YouTube censored the anti-Muslim video, but kept an anti-Christian one. You still think there isn't some kind of Muslim pressure group behind this?
This is a screenshot of the information about the video in question, censored from my account:

The video for which I was banned
This copy is being hosted by another YouTube user and has not yet been censored:

Content of the 'banned' video
The quotes I used are taken from this page:
Skeptics Annotated Quran
The Skeptic's Annotated Quran abbreviates the long, flowery language of the Quran into more legible, easily digestible form. Thus it is not strictly verbatim, but it is a valid translation. It is not a commentary, nor is it a distortion of the content of the Quran. For example:
Qur'an text
As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not. Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom.
Video text (from SAQ)
Don't bother to warn the disbelievers. Allah has blinded them. Theirs will be an awful doom
The meaning is the same. I point this out because I do say in my video I used the text taken directly from the Qur'an, where in fact I used the text from the SAQ, but I still stand by the fact that this video shows 'Islamic Teachings: Cruelty From The Qur'an'

Email from YouTube, disabling my account
Notice the removal was for 'inappropriate' content, NOT copyright infringement. When videos are taken down for copyright reasons, YouTube tells you that this is the case, and tells you which company issued a DMCA notice against you.
